Enfolded within Mykonos’ storied shores in Agrari, the new Mystique Rock retreat designed by ELASTIC is a whispered ode to ancient myth by which the heavens and earth intertwined, and the titans themselves were born. Echoing the scattered remnants of their epic battle, the resort’s structures are thoughtfully dispersed across the landscape, embracing the natural contours with minimal intervention.

In homage to the traditional village typology, ELASTIC alternated between 3 types of volumes diversely allocated across the land that create a rich visual variety while ensuring a harmonious architectural tapestry. Yet, in a departure from tradition, we sought to embrace sleek lines and contemporary grace, offering a sanctuary where modernity meets myth.

At the heart of the resort lies the main building, an epitome of elegance and tranquility where every step beckons towards the azure horizon. From every angle, guests are greeted with breathtaking views of the sea, guiding their gaze through mystic, narrow passages to the edge of the cliff, where the resort seamlessly merges with its surroundings.

A meandering stream of water unites the resort’s buildings, mirroring the horizon’s union with the earth and sea. Utilizing materials sourced from the island’s own embrace, such as locally sourced plaster and stone unearthed from the construction of subterranean villas, we pay homage to the island’s rich heritage while embracing sustainability.

In designing the resort guestrooms at Agrari Mystique Rock, ELASTIC incorporated traditional elements of Cycladic architecture. Sun-drenched clostra motifs dance with light, casting shadows that playfully move upon stone and plaster, whispering secrets of the land’s past. These motifs filter abundant natural light, infusing each space with warmth and serenity. These traditional features are further celebrated in decorative pergolas and terraces, adding a touch of timeless charm to this modern sanctuary.

Here, amidst the gentle lull of the Aegean, where time slows and dreams take flight, a 40 keys resort hotel of various designs, 12 exquisite villas and a rejuvenating spa await – each a testament to our commitment to craft and luxury. In addition, vibrant public areas, and enticing dining options, including an all-day restaurant and specialty dining venue promise an unforgettable escape for discerning travelers seeking indulgence and tranquility amidst Mykonos’ enchanting beauty.
