The architectural concept is inspired by the light effect of a glacier cave. Light is filtered through the frozen lake or the tranquil lake waters and creates magical moments for the hotel guests.

 

Set in an alpine environment, 1430m above sea level, the abandoned hotel will be restored and enhanced with a spa, outdoor restaurant and a kid’s club. The pinnacle of the design will be the reflecting pool, which will reflect the image of the hotel during summer, and will freeze during winter to create an ice skate rink. The hotel is surrounded by lush forest plantation, that will hide the luxury villas nesting inside.
