At Four Seasons Resort Mauritius at Anahita, ELastic reimagined the resort’s culinary destinations as a journey shaped by nature, culture, and the timeless ritual of gathering. Rather than a collection of individual restaurants, the vision was to create a sequence of distinct and soulful experiences, each deeply rooted in its surroundings and guided by the rhythms of the island itself.

Across the resort, architecture dissolves into the landscape. Open to lagoons, tropical gardens, ocean views and shifting natural light, each venue establishes a unique dialogue with its setting. Materials, textures  and forms draw inspiration from the island’s geography, craftsmanship and cultural heritage, creating spaces that feel both immersive and inherently connected to place.

From the lagoon-facing Lobby Lounge and the sculptural Blu’zil Bar, inspired by the organic contours of the landscape, to Angara’s celebration of Indian artistry, Radici’s Mediterranean warmth, and Awase’s poetic relationship between land and sea, every destination tells its own story. Ti Pwason embraces the simplicity of dining directly on the sand, while Chaloupe brings freshness and ease to everyday gathering. The experience finds its final expression at the Rum Library, an intimate pavilion honouring Mauritius’ rich rum heritage and traditions.

Together, these venues form a layered culinary landscape where architecture, nature, craftsmanship, and gastronomy become inseparable. Boundaries between interior and exterior dissolve, allowing the rhythms of the island, the movement of light, the presence of water and the richness of local culture to shape each experience. What emerges is a collection of destinations deeply rooted in Mauritius, where a profound sense of place unfolds through atmosphere, materiality and the timeless act of gathering.
