PROJECTS

Between the infinite reaches of the Baja desert and the tranquil waters of the Sea of Cortés, Amanvari emerges as an instinctive yet intentional response to one of Mexico’s most elemental landscapes. Conceived beyond form, shaped by the land itself.

Designed by Elastic, the intimate sanctuary of 18 Casitas embodies Aman’s defining principles of space, privacy and harmony with nature. Guided by the spirit of the East Cape, architecture, art and design unfold as an immersive experience, drawing guests into the sensory language of the surroundings.

Rather than imposing on the land it calls home, Amanvari follows its collection of unique forms: desert, estuary, ocean and the Sierra de la Laguna mountains on the horizon. Here, the resort flows effortlessly as a sequence from arrival to an existing lagoon and onwards to the shoreline, with architecture revealing another ecosystem at every turn. Grounding and suspension; light and shadow. Through their delicate balance, these elements compose a sanctuary of quiet symmetry, architectural precision and profound continuity with its setting.
