Nestled along the pristine shores of the Arabian Gulf, lies the epitome of opulence in the ultra-luxuriant beachfront villas of Amali Island in Dubai. These architectural marvels, rising against the backdrop of the iconic Dubai skyline, redefine seaside living with their unparalleled grandeur and captivating views.

Amali Island villas embody an innovative architectural vision inspired by Uruguay’s magnificent Ombu tree. Serving as a symbol of resilience, adaptability and shelter, this concept endeavors to seamlessly merge architecture with nature, celebrating the unique characteristics and ecological significance of the Ombu tree.

Deriving inspiration from the tree’s expansive, umbrella-like canopy and sinuous branches, ELASTIC envisioned the architectural design of the villas to embrace the organic curvature of the Ombu’s roots, shaping the island villas into a living sculptural testament to the artistry of nature.

As the falling tree leaves scatter in the wind, creating irregular, yet harmonious arrangements on the ground, each leaf, a unique piece of nature’s art, contributed to a canvas of asymmetry that captivated the imagination. Inspired by this poetic display, ELASTIC conceived a collection of villas that would echo the natural grace found in the irregular shapes of fallen leaves.

Villas

As part of a marvelous complex of islands, the villas’ architecture mirrors the city’s penchant for the extraordinary. Following 2 different approaches to design – Minimal contemporary and linear Grande – each of the three villas is a masterpiece of craftmanship and sculptural art, a luxurious private haven with exclusive stretches of sand and mesmerizing views to the stunning Dubai Skyline, Palm Jumeirah and Royal Atlantis.

Structured to offer extended, maximized spaces, evoking the sense of being in a resort, the villas boast majestic rooftops, outdoor firepits, jacuzzis and enchanting water channels beckoning residents to step outside and immerse themselves in the iconic natural setting.  Double-heighted glass surfaces, towering from floor to ceiling, frame the panoramic expanse of the Gulf, inviting the lull of the ocean waves into the heart of each residence. Large scale private pools urge residents to indulge in a sensory experience mirroring the architectural finesse of the villa itself.

With a strong commitment to provide an unparalleled experience of luxury and comfort, ELASTIC seamlessly wove a tapestry of elegance and ease, by designing accompanying pavilions to each villa, that curate a residential lifestyle reminiscent of an everlasting resort retreat. Similarly, individual cabanas along the coastal edge of the front-facing villas allow residents to unwind in a private sanctuary of relaxation gazing at the spectacular Dubai Skyline.

Villa A

Inspired by the desire to seamlessly meld the 2 islands into a harmonious whole, the concept of an interconnecting islet was creatively born by ELASTIC. Poised between the islands, a miniature haven, thus, becomes the bridge that bound two worlds – a private islet enclosed within an island.

Carefully landscaped to mirror the natural beauty of the surrounding islands, Villa A – the intimate crown jewel of the island – stands as a symphony of comfort, sophistication, and unfolding grandeur. In the heart of this opulent villa, meticulously designed water channels and paths weave through the landscape, creating an enchanting tapestry of grace and tranquility inspired by the allure of nature – an element seamlessly integrated by ELASTIC into the very fabric of the residence. These channels adorned with aquatic flora serve as both aesthetic focal points and calming conduits for the soothing sounds of cascading water. Stretching across the villa’s courtyard, an expansive 22-meter pool serves as both a shimmering spectacle and a haven for indulgence encouraging social gatherings and entertainment.

Connecting the private islet to the larger island is a feat of architectural ingenuity. Towards the west of the island, a bridge gracefully arched over the water, becomes a symbiotic link that joins the two worlds. The bridge itself becomes an integral part of the experience — a journey from one realm to another, suspended over the rippling currents of the ocean.

Club House

The architectural design of the island’s Club house captures the essence and form of the Ombu tree while adapting to the functional and recreational requirements of the building. Grand, canopy-inspired shade structures provide covered areas for lounging and dining, while open-air spaces allow for uninterrupted views of the seductive ocean. Semi-circular gathering spaces for socializing and events are surrounded by lush greenery, creating a secluded, intimate ambience reminiscent of the tree’s canopy. The Club house boasts a state-of-the-art spa and gym facility, providing guests with a luxurious and invigorating wellness experience.
