Founded in 2005 by Ria Vogiatzi and Alexandros Xenos, ELASTIC is a global award-winning firm of 100+ diverse and talented architects & designers based in Athens, Greece and offices in London, Toronto, Dubai and Cyprus.  Specializing in high-end hospitality design, we leverage our global expertise to leave a mark on a diverse range of domestic and international projects. With an innovative sculptural approach to architectural, interior, and hardscape design, we are driven by a passion to craft truly immersive experiences that are engraved in the hearts and minds of clients and guests. From large scale hotels to expansive mixed-use resorts, our portfolio boasts collaborations with esteemed international brands, while our work has garnered widespread acclaim from award competitions around the world.

Founders

Ria Vogiatzi

Ria brings two decades of extensive experience in hospitality architecture and design. The sculptural approach of her design was the inspiration for ELASTIC, founded in 2005 with Principal Alexandros Xenos. Fortune magazine recognized her as a Trailblazer for her international avant-garde design and she was awarded the World Woman Leader of Advanced Architecture by the Who is Who International Awards. She is the first Greek judge in the AHEAD awards for Europe in London and has been awarded as “Architect of the Year” by the 100% Hotel Design Awards. Recently she was featured among the Top 10 Best Global Women Architects for 2023 by the global business platform “Global Woman Leader”.

Alexandros Xenos

Alexandros holds 25 years of expertise in the realm of development and construction. Following the establishment of his architectural studio “Perisfairion” in 1996, he focused on the development and design of sports facilities, offices and commercial spaces. He later co-founded ELASTIC alongside Ria in 2005. As of 2000, he is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece and the Greek Architects Council. For the past 25 years, he is involved in numerous projects in Greece and abroad with main scope the architectural study, supervision and construction, mainly focusing in lead design consultancy for hotels and resorts.

Partners

Enrique Mangalindan

Enrique is Partner and Creative Director of the ELASTIC Toronto-based branch. He joined ELASTIC in 2018 and, alongside Ria and Alexandros, launched the company branch in Canada. As Creative Partner, Enrique is the principal Client contact and supervises all phases of work. He liaises with the Client on design strategy throughout the course of the project to ensure that work is executed according to the agreed design intent.
