Located In the heart of Athens across the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Anthology of Athens stands as a contemporary ode to the city’s timeless spirit. Rooted in the myth of Deucalion—where stones cast upon the earth were said to take human form—its design, led by ELASTIC, reimagines materiality as something living, breathing, and profoundly sensorial.

The façades reflect timeless simplicity. They engage in quiet dialogue with the classical surrounding, their clean, minimalist lines forging a subtle connection between antiquity and the present.

Modern interpretations of classical elements are woven into the architecture. The structure plays with light and shadow, softness and solidity, marble and lush greenery. Vertical forms echo the Temple’s enduring columns, while framed balconies open the interiors to panoramic view of the city beyond.

Inside, the narrative shifts. The design becomes sculptural and expressive, with a curated palette of natural materials—marble, oak, fluted glass, and textured plaster – which add tactility and depth. The interplay of textures evokes the very essence of transformation: from the organic to the structured, from stone to soul.

The five-star boutique hotel features 18 luxurious rooms and suites, a spa, an all-day bistro, and the Botany rooftop bar-restaurant. Since opening in August 2024, Anthology of Athens – a member of “The Leading Hotels of the World”— has quickly gained acclaim, recently being awarded Best Boutique Hotel in Greece at the Greek Hotel of the Year Awards 2025.
